Silymarin is the active principle from the fruit of Silybum marianum, better known as the Milk Thistle. Milk thistle is one of the most extensively studied herbs in use today, with over 300 scientific studies on its chemistry and application.

It used to take over 4.5 grams of whole milk thistle herb to produce 150mg of milk thistle extract, the amount found in just one of our tablets, with a guaranteed level of 105mg silymarin per tablet.

Now we are using over 8.5 grams of whole milk thistle! From this we produce 286mg of milk thistle extract that is standardised so we can guarantee that each tablet provides a full 200mg of silymarin, making it one of the strongest available! And we haven't passed this additional cost on, we've kept the price just as it was.
